Data Deletion
Last updated: October 8, 2026
Orbit, operated by Guide U Inc, stores the data you give it to run marketing for your store. You can disconnect a platform or delete your whole account at any time. This page explains how, and what happens when you do.
Disconnect a platform (Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube)
Sign in, open Settings, and choose Disconnect next to the platform. Orbit immediately deletes the access token for that platform, stops syncing it, and removes campaign and insight data pulled from it within 24 hours. You can also revoke Orbit's access from the platform's side: in Facebook under Settings → Business Integrations, or in your Google Account under Security → Third-party access. Revoking there has the same effect once our next sync notices the token is gone.
Delete your account and all data
Email hello@orbitnow.io from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We confirm the request, delete the account, every business and location under it, connected-platform tokens, customer lists, messages, articles, and billing history within 30 days, and send a confirmation when it is done. Backups age out within a further 30 days. Records we are required to keep for tax or legal reasons, such as invoices, are kept for the period the law requires and nothing else.
Data received from Facebook or Google
If you used Facebook Login or Google sign-in to connect a platform and later remove Orbit from that platform, the platform sends us a deletion request. We honor it automatically by deleting the stored token and any data imported from that platform for your account. You can confirm by emailing the address above with your account email.
