Privacy Policy

Orbit, operated by Guide U Inc ("we", "us"), provides an AI marketing operating system at orbitnow.io (the "Service"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account data. Name, email address, and a hashed password when you create an account. We never store passwords in plain text.
• Business profile data. Information you provide or approve about your business — products, brand voice, audience, goals, budgets — used to generate and manage your marketing.
• Website content. If you ask Orbit to analyze a website, we fetch its publicly available pages to build your business profile.
• Connected accounts. When you connect a social or advertising platform (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok), we receive OAuth access tokens scoped to the permissions you approve. We never receive or store your passwords for those platforms. Tokens are encrypted at rest.
• Campaign and performance data. Content, campaigns, schedules, and performance metrics (impressions, clicks, conversions, spend) retrieved from platforms you connect, used to operate and improve your campaigns.
• Usage data. Log and device information standard to operating a web service (IP address, browser type, pages visited), used for security and reliability.

How we use information

• To provide the Service: generating content, scheduling and publishing posts, creating and optimizing ad campaigns you authorize.
• To process content through AI providers (see below) solely to deliver features you invoke.
• To maintain an auditable log of automated actions taken on your behalf.
• To secure, debug, and improve the Service.
• To communicate with you about your account and the Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

AI processing

Content generation and analysis are powered by third-party AI providers, including Anthropic. Business profile text and content inputs you submit are sent to these providers to fulfill your requests, subject to their data-use commitments. We do not use your data to train our own public models.

Third-party platforms

Actions taken on connected platforms (posting, advertising) are governed by those platforms' own terms and privacy policies. You can revoke Orbit's access at any time from the platform's security settings or from Orbit's Settings page; revocation disables the connection immediately.

Google user data

Where you connect a Google service (Google Ads, YouTube), Orbit accesses only the data needed to provide the features you invoke: reading campaign performance, applying the campaign changes you authorize, and uploading videos you direct to your channel. Orbit's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising of our own, do not sell it, and do not allow humans to read it except with your consent, for security, or to comply with law.

The Service uses YouTube API Services for video uploads you initiate. By using those features you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service; Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke Orbit's access to your Google data at any time from Orbit's Settings page or via Google security settings.

Data retention & deletion

We retain your data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting dave@guideu.fun; we delete or anonymize it within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and platform tokens are encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is restricted and audited. No method of storage is 100% secure; we work to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the Service.

Children

The Service is for business use and not directed to anyone under 16.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notice.
